Sometimes it starts when your world turns upside down. In this case, she was finding her footing after a divorce. On her own for the first time in years, she took a hard look at who she wanted to be, what she wanted to do and where she wanted to live. Then, she called Matthias for help. With our guidance, she realized her new purpose, and the next place she’d call home. In Israel, she dedicated her life to nonprofit work, grant writing and philanthropy. For years, Matthias continued to help with every major life and financial decision. We never left her side — even when her story took a turn for the worse.
What’s keeping you from calling a new country, “home”?

Sometimes you get to call multiple places “home.” In this case, the bomber pilot grew up in the States, but as he saw more of the world from the skies, he knew life across the pond was where he wanted to be. So he and his wife and family moved to Germany, then Italy. They were happy to put down roots in Europe. But in building their life abroad, they needed help preserving all they had in America. That’s when Matthias stepped in.
When will you take your dream off the backburner?

Sometimes our dreams take the backseat. In this case, the physician spent his whole life caring for others, treating patients, training doctors and, in his spare time, launching a nonprofit. He and his wife, a retired occupational therapist, put their all into the organization. But while they were experts in patient care, they were novices at nonprofit operations. That’s when they called Matthias. After restructuring the organization, his wife had everything she needed to take over — and he finally had a moment to breathe. So we asked him something he never asked himself: What is it that you want in life? And with a bucket list goal on the table, Matthias went to work to make his childhood dream come true.
How do you navigate an inheritance when you’re still trying to graduate high school?

Sometimes it starts with a challenge. In this case, the successful, family-founded company was enjoying great prosperity when the unimaginable happened. The CEO suddenly passed, leaving a team without their leader — and a young daughter without her father. On top of having to run the business, this family had to navigate the hardest chapter of their lives. And they weren’t equipped to do it alone. That’s when Matthias stepped in.
